You can make a toner that will cleanse your skin:
1/4 cup distilled water and 5 drops Tea Tree oil. Mix together and store in a sealed bottle. Shake before using, and apply using a cotton ball.
Specifically for blackheads, DO NOT PICK/SQUEEZE. But you already knew that, right? Steaming your face, with your head over a bowl of boiled water, towel over your head, will really help. Then, using 2 kleenexes, just gently press on the skin where the blackhead is, and the oil and dirt that make up the blackhead will be brought to the surface. Go around your entire face, but don't press too hard. Resteam when you're done, and pat dry.
For pimples/acne:
1/2 teaspoon camphor lotiong (avail. at a drugstore)
1/2 teaspoon tomato juice
1 teaspoon honey
Mix to a paste, and apply it to your face, leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water. This one, used regularly, can help reduce the appearance of acne/pimple scars.
Whip up an egg white (separated from the yolk) and apply it to your face, leave it on for 20 minutes, or overnight even, and rinse with lukewarm water.
Apparently garlic is supposed to help too. Either rub raw garlic on your skin, or mix 1 part garlic jiuce with 3 parts water, and rub it over your face. I don't know, but this one sounds kinda...funky.
Well, that's all I can find.Any home remedies for blackheads and acne?
I know that isopropyl alchol, drys out pempils. Other then that I use AVON's Blackhead Clearing Cleanser. It works really well. I use to break out bad by the edge of my nose. But it's taken it all away.
