Hiya all,
I've had them on my nose since i was a teenager and nothing seems to work, does anyone have a genuine remedy?
Thanks.Blackheads, does any have any remedies?
Press a warm flannel on the area for a couple of miutes, then with clean fingers gently squeeze, if the blackheads do not come out easily then stop. Apart from that clense face twice daily to help keep dirt and oil at bay!Blackheads, does any have any remedies?
I would say the best remedy is using steam to open the and cleanse the pores. If you have access to a steam room, I suggest 10-15 minutes in it then wash your face with a cleanser. Then apply tea tree oil which helps.
using a needle pop it. don't suke the gunk out! insted somether it in toothpaste! works everytime!
In a hot shower get a face towel and rub hard on them- they should remove. If you go to body dhop they have a blackhead scraper- that's also good in the shower. Wash your face morning and might with mild soap to stop your pores getting blocked. This should help.
Try going to myskinid.com
They have a new product line that is working great for me. It's specialized to YOUR skin.
Try 1/2 a lemon mixed in flour and a little milk put it on as a mask and see the magic working it worked for me!
Getting rid of blackheads is a difficult task. And there are many methods out there that simply don't work.
For example...
......squeezing, steaming and popping.
But here's a method that do work. It's called exfoliation.
Exfoliation is the removal of the top layer of skin (the epidermis). And is effective for almost every type of facial skin care problem.
But here's how exfoliation can get rid of blackheads......
Blackheads form when sebum (natural oils produced by the skin) gets trapped in the skin's pores. And if these pores are partly open, then oxygen reacts with the trapped sebum, turning it black in color.
Now to remove these blackheads requires you to ';un-roof'; the heads of the clogged pores.
And guess what......
......that's exactly what exfoliation does when removing the epidermis of the skin.
And once the head of the pore is removed, the trapped sebum can be taken out via cleansers and toners.
So how do you exfoliate?
Well you can visit a doctor's office to have a chemical peel, laser peel or a microdermabrasion procedure.
But I must warn you that these procedures are expensive. In fact a chemical peel procedure can cost up to $300.
But there's a cheaper way if you're interested.
You can purchase the at-home versions of the chemical peels and/or microdermabrasion creams. These work well although you'll take a little longer to get the results your looking for.
However, once you've removed the top layer of skin (the epidermis), you'll easily get that trapped sebum out of your pores.
Whipped egg white plastered on ya face leave for hour then wash off. Should sort it out a treat.
Wrights cold tar soap and take sulphur tablets daily. I only used this when I was a teenager and never had a problem with spots and blackheads.

Apply paste of roasted and powdered pomegranate skin with fresh limejuice over blackheads.
Wet cotton in warm water mixed with Epsom salt and iodine. Dab them on blackheads to loosen them.
Use green tea as a face scrub to loose blackheads.
Mash drumsticks pods and leaves.
Mix it with fresh limejuice and apply on the trouble spots.
Combine 录 cup of hot water with 1 tsp of Epsom salts and 4 drops of iodine. Mix well and let it cool until it is lukewarm.

i get them too. a while ago i had a facial and she got them out and now the strips work for me. you can get cheap ones in boots.
i squeeze mine but it leaves marks so prob not the best idea to use my nails however in the body shop they have a blackhead remover, ive never tried it but could be a good investment.
2 words..... NOSE STRIPS!!!!
As for a home remedy about blackheads i 've read a lot about rubbing gently some fresh slices of tomato to the problematic area and then clean it with water....
Have you tried those nose strip things?
You have to wet your nose and stick the strip across it, and leave it to dry - then pull it off and it pulls away the blackheads (well mostly!).
I use them regularly and think they are great!
You can get them in Boots and Superdrug.
